ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: AYSIA WHITLEY
Pitt CC Athletics proudly announces that Aysia Whitley has been named the Youngs Physical Therapy Athlete of the Week.
Whitley is a sophomore middle hitter from Kinston, NC.

Who has been the biggest influence on your athletic journey? Why?
The biggest influence is my sister as she plays volleyball too, but me being the older sister, I'm trying to set the boundary.
What is your pregame routine?
A good stretch by myself and jamming to music.
Which of your teammates pushes you to be your best?
Shea Jenkins. I love her, she is an amazing player and makes me want to be better.
What's your favorite thing about being on this team so far?
I love the amazing energy after recording a kill.
If you weren't playing your current sport, which sport would you try?
I would play softball. Softball is my sport before volleyball, I played it for years.
Where would you go on your dream vacation?
The Bahamas.
What do you hope to do after Pitt?
Become a veterinarian.
