Check out our interview with Izzy below:
Who has been the biggest influence on your athletic journey? Why?
My travel coach, Heather. She is one of the few coaches I've had that hasn't given up on me or doubted me. She was always there when I needed extra reps and helped me love my sport again.
What is your pregame routine?
I listen to music and dance. Also, before stepping on the field I close my eyes and make the cross because God has given me this opportunity.
Which of your teammates pushes you to be your best?
Reagan Stapleton has always pushed me to be the best I can here.
What's your favorite thing about being on this team so far?
My favorite thing is the positive environment. Everyone is so kind and uplifting.
If you weren't playing your current sport, which sport would you try?
Probably soccer.
Where would you go on your dream vacation?
Anywhere in Europe.
What do you hope to do after Pitt?
I hope to continue to play softball at a four year school.
