Baseball Sweeps Southeastern in Conference Series Opener

WINTERVILLE, NC - The Bulldogs opened up conference play a perfect 3-0, sweeping Southeastern Community College by scores of 11-1, 11-5, and 15-1.

GAME 1 RECAP - The bats were hot for Pitt in game 1 Saturday as the Bulldogs outhit the Rams 10-1. Patrick Wheeler and Aaron Stamper led the way at the plate each collecting multiple hits. Stamper recorded a double and a home run. Justin Walke earned the win throwing a complete game allowing 1 run on 1 hit.

GAME 2 RECAP - SCC wasn't able to cool off the Pitt offense in game 2. Pitt collected 13 hits including another 3-3 performance by Aaron Stamper, a three hit day by Tommy Bullock, and a three hit four RBI game by Daniel Millwee. Jake Isbell earned the win on the mound working three innings of relief.

GAME 3 RECAP - A seven run first inning was all the Bulldogs would need on Sunday. Pitt drew a season high 12 walks while also pounding out 8 hits. Daniel Millwee led the way with two hits. Shelton Perkins was outstanding on the mound, allowing 1 run on 4 hits in a complete game effort,
